Expertise Forged in Service

Forenzic Consulting commenced its journey within the South African Police Service (SAPS). Our founders accumulated over 51 years of combined investigative and forensic experience in prestigious units including the SAPS Forensic Science Laboratory Ballistic Unit, Commercial Crime Unit, and Detective Service.

This foundational experience, combined with service in bodies like IPID, the National Prosecuting Authority (ID), and the eThekwini Municipality City Integrity and Investigation Unit, gives us an unparalleled understanding of the South African forensic and criminal justice landscape.

Educational Background:

Qualified as an Forensic Ballistics Scientist/Specialist (i.e. Firearms and Tool Marks Examiner) with more than two decades OF experience in Ballistics related cases examination under Forensic Science Laboratory-South African Police Services (SAPS), which 12 years of that involves Facilitation of Three (3) year in-service-training Forensic Ballistics Specialists Courses (Firearms and Tool Marks Examiners course) for Forensic Ballistics Trainees. Also conducted Forensic Ballistics Awareness to Forensic Analysts (Ballistics Trainees and Experts), Law Enforcement (Detectives, Police who attends shooting incident crime scenes etc.), Local Criminal Record Centre Forensic Analysts, University students, and Legal Professionals.
